Aniston's new Hair cut!

I thought that I could honestly do her hair this morning. The plan was only to cut off the baby hair. It was the only part of her hair that was getting all knotted up all the time. So I figure I would get rid of it. That was the biggest mistake I did. Luckily we have a close friend that does hair and she fixed Aniston's hair. I do have to admit she does look darn cute.

Can you handle this?!?

A Joyful day on July 9th,2008 YAH!!!

Our program (HFN) officially closed on the house with the bank today. Now HFN needs to go in and do some minor fixing of the house so that it is livable. At the same time as they are fixing we are painting the interior of the home to our liking.

We just purchased on the 7th our bed at the Clearance Center RC Willey off of Craig and Lamb. They had some killer deals. (time for a little story) We were blessed to have saved up for this so we paid in cash at the register. Well we had came straight from Wells Fargo that day and when I had handed over the amount she looked all of the $100 dollar bills. Well 3 of them looked counterfeit. I was very polite when they said that they had to call up lost prevention for them to look at the bills so that they were not counterfeit. I was cool and calm and I stated that I just came from the bank. Why would Wells Fargo make money in their vault. After the bills were cleared the lady asked me what vehicle I will be picking up the furniture with. "My Hummer and a trailer." (I don't have a Hummer but my sister-in-law's boss does and that was what were using to pick up the furniture) She looked at me like "What!!!" So when we can back to pick up the furniture RC Willey paid me (in cash) $20 dollars for the inconvenience of the so called counterfeit $100 dollar bills. They were able to knock off 10% of all of the items that we paid for since we did it in cash and we were picking it up on the same day. Blessing??????

Complete Car CHAOS!!!

WARNING: May take up a lot of time away from children and/or family/friend/food activities due to length of paragraph!

Okay, so right before Father's Day, we had to put my parents mini van (which we use and are planning on buying after we get our house) in the shop for a new transmission. $$$$$. We had been planning a trip to California for a family reunion the end of June for about a month. $$$. A few days before we leave, I notice the there is a gas smell coming from the AC. We have a friend of ours check it out, but he is unable to pin point the problem. So back to the shop we go! Come to find out, the car will not be done in time for us to go to Cali. Surprise, surprise! We rent a mini van for our trip and leave wednesday. $$$$$. On the way there, we hear a whistling sound in the car. We turn up the radio to try and get rid of it but to no avail, IT DOES NOT STOP! Jesse pulls the car over and gets out to see what it is. He goes to the passenger side window and notices that there is a break in the rubber that outlines the window, so the air is getting through. (Note: this is a Brand new Dodge Caravan). Jesse try's to fix it by taking our Gallant key (the only key we have) to try and fix the rubber to cover the hole. The key breaks in half, so now we still have a whistling sound and no way of getting into our car when we return home . We reach my Aunt's house and after visiting a couple of days and family time, Jesse takes the key to a locksmith to get it fixed. The guy gives us a new key but tells Jesse it will not start the car because there is a computer chip in the key that you can only get at the dealership. GREAT!!!! In the meantime, my parents pick up the mini van Friday before they leave to Cali after finding out there is hole in the manifold. It gets fixed. $$$$$. We return home from California Monday afternoon and plan on taking our key to the dealership ASAP. Not gonna happen! My mom is gone taking the mini van back into the shop and we have to take the rental back by 5pm. Thanks to my sweet sister and brother-in-law, we were able to take the rental back but are still unable to take the key. Why you ask? I called the dealership and they said we have to bring the car in so they can program the key to the car......WHAT!!!??? How on earth are we going to bring our car in when the only key we have is BROKEN!! Dad returns home so now we have a truck. We finally rent a U-Haul car trailer. $$$$$. We have to push the car onto the trailer..HAHAHA!! Ya right! Dad gets called back into work. My mom sits in the drivers seat, Jesse and our sweet next door neighbor are at the back pushing with all their might. I eventually help them, but, really, I'm not any help at all! We get the car somewhat on. Well it's actually stuck because it fell off the right side. Jesse and our neighbor push it off but in doing so, rip the right side of our bumper off! So I call a member of our ward who lives around the block to come help. Sweet Bro. Callister comes over to help and sure enough, the first time they get it on right! Now we are down 2 cars for 2 families! Dad returns home again and Mom, Jesse and Brother Callister drag the car to the dealership. Bro. Callister offers his car for us to use while he is in Idaho. Our Knight in Shining Armor! We get a call the next morning from the dealership about the keys. They have to overnight them from another dealership NOT IN OUR STATE, and will cost A LOT OF MONEY!!!! $$$$$. THey also fixed our glove compartment because Jess had to break it open to get insurance info so we could get our rental for California. $$$$$. Oh no...we're not done!! We finally get our car back (yesterday) and it works fine. The mini van, on the other hand, needs more work. Are we surprised....I should say NOT!!!! Come to find out, something was rusted and was causing the van to misfire. That needed to be replaced as well. Thanks to my wonderful parents, they took care of that! (Parents: $$$$$). Everything eventually worked out after all! I just feel so blessed that it all happened when we had the money. We still need to fix a couple of things on our car, but they can wait until after we move into our house!! A HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED US IN OUR TIME OF NEED!! WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!! YOU'RE ALL WONDERFUL!!
SKADOOSH!!!
