Anderson Family Reunion, Cottonwood, AZ back in June 09

Grandma Mangum holding Ammon for comfort and support during his rough trials in life that he is going through.

This is the same horse troff that Shannon and her sisters and cousins played in when they were our kids age.

Auri wanted to pull her loving brother in a red wagon.

Coming home from church on sunday we found cousins playing in the creek so naturally our kids wanted to so here is the result of the decision. Still in her sunday dress remind you! It was still rememberable.

Ammon's happy face in the red wagon.

This is only the beginning of joy in this journey of family life. I just can not wait.

This was the first fishing trip that the girls have ever gone on so I wanted to make it special. So here is the first picture of us in the car after a potty break before going down to the water.

We casted out over by government wash at Lake Mead and was anxiously awaiting a fish to bit our yummy bait.

Still waiting!!

OK... after 3 hours waiting for the freakin fish to bait our horrible nasty tasting bait, we went to McDonalds and had lunch in Boulder City. After replenishing our hunger with Fat, we went over to the Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City, hoping to catch "something" there.

Ani lost her patience very quickly and after 30 minutes Mommy found us and forced us to go home! So no fished were caught on our first fishing trip. Hopefully next time!

Playing chutes and ladders???

Ok seriously I haven't played this game in my life, and for something so simple I had to read the instructions on how to play. On the box it says quote "You don't have to know how to read to play this game!" We had a blast figuring it out, even though we didn't play it the right way.

Nacho Libre Girls

Shannon was down stairs waiting for the girls to come down when she heard a loud BANG! Out came two Luchador's from Nacho Libre. Shannon couldn't stop laughing. And they were yelling, "Naaaachooooooooooooo" and wrestling with each other. And this is the scene of their Luchador impression.

Ammon Nathan Petty

Enjoying the car that just received!

This is his first birthday, enjoying his birthday cake!

Ammon's look is so priceless...

Shannon was doing something and all of a sudden when she turned around she found Ammon on top of the door of the dishwasher. Funny funny.

We just had to put this on on here because ammon's sad look just makes me want to hug him even more.

Catching up with Aniston Love Petty

Aniston is learning so much from Auri since she started kindergarden. Ani is excited to start pre-school really soon. She is learning to color in the lines and working the computer almost better than Auri.

Catching up with Aurianna Mauree

Aurianna's first day in Kindergarten, she was so very excited. She is going to Gordon McCaw in Henderson and her teacher is Mrs. Kofford in the afternoon session.

When we went to pick her up it started to rain, of all places in Henderson... go figure. It was very memorable for both of us.

We were making funny faces and this is one of Aurianna's funny faces.

Aurianna lost her front tooth

Aurianna loves to pick her little brother ALL OF THE TIME. She is such a big helper and such a big sister to Ani and Ammon.

Aurianna loves to color and really focus on her homework that she has now in kindergarten. She is loving it.

Ammon laughing

Ammon's laugh from Jesse and Shannon Petty on Vimeo.

Ammon loves his toys and so does daddy, Auri and Ani. One night I (Daddy) was playing with him in the bedroom and started to build a tower out of the blocks. Ammon walks over and just smacks all of the blocks making them fly everywhere. And he just started laughing. I couldn't stop laughing from his laugh and vis versa with him. The rest is just history...

Ammon walking in August

Here is the video of Ammon walking in our new home.

Ammon crawling in June

Ammon crawling along in June from Jesse and Shannon Petty on Vimeo.

We finally are getting organized here in the new Petty establishment. Here is a video where Ammon is pushing along in a generic crawling manner to get what he wants. He did start to walk in mid August, which there is a small video of him doing that (to funny). This was back in June, we are trying to catch up for the lost time.

Aniston's new Hair cut!

I thought that I could honestly do her hair this morning. The plan was only to cut off the baby hair. It was the only part of her hair that was getting all knotted up all the time. So I figure I would get rid of it. That was the biggest mistake I did. Luckily we have a close friend that does hair and she fixed Aniston's hair. I do have to admit she does look darn cute.

Relaxed!!

Are you sleepy yet?

Sleep depravation is the name for what we have. And all we can do is just smile and wave. And usually this is when we laugh and smile at the silliest things. Ammon's laugh is just one of those laughs where you have to laugh along with him because it is just to cute.

KING SIZE fun!

We took our king size mattress and made it a indoor slide for the girls. Lets just say they had to much fun

Aniston and her Boots!!

These boots are made for walking (and playing, church shoes, swimming shoes, night night shoes and everything else your feet do and go).

Doing are hair every day is a challenge to any 3 yr old but she barely has any so it is quick and painless.

Adventures of Ammon

He loves to scoot on the floor. Not really crawling but just scooting. And he has learned to sit himself up without us helping him.

We usually watch a movie while going to bed, and Ammon just wanted to fast forward the previews at straight to the movie. His RSV is getting better and he is starting to get that curiosity gene in motion with everything he sees. It is just fascinating to watch him learn in such small steps and about the smallest things he touches.

Shannon having fun with the camera

Shannon did such a fantastic job we just had to post all of the photographs. I am so proud of her for everything that she has done with the girls. Everything they love to do is captured in these photographs.
