Family Home Evening 4-21-08

We learned about keeping the commandments and about Nephi and obtaining the plates. Shannon did a fantastic job with all of the cousins and nephews their along with our kids. We had a blast putting the lesson on along with the creation of the treats. I will just say that they still taste good!

The nieces and nephews were over the other night and it was just to quite upstairs so Shannon went to go check on them and this is what they were doing. Kids will be kids, and when they are we just sit back and enjoy the moment.

General Conference April of '08

Shannon wanted to take a picture of them sustaining the new Prophet and Apostles and other individuals. Aniston on the last one was raising both hands and Aurianna started to keep the left hand raised until Shannon told them that only the right hand should be raised. They slowly put the wrong ones down and placed the right hand up with a small grin. It was classic and just dang adorable.

This was something that I was doodling on this afternoon. The photography is all done by me of course.

The artist note: What I was going for was a little suspicion and the other side of the cell phone. Aurianna is looking on the other side for something that is puzzling her. And the cell phone is off (of blank) giving the illusion of surprise of what she is thinking, what she is looking at, and what really lies on the other side when the cell phone is on. I guess you can say that the cell phone represents life in a confusion point of view. The door effect would represent a different path of life you can take but still close the door and choose another. Aurianna is gray tone for an effect you choose (bringing out the bright colors to offset the gray). You use your imagination with the symbolism beyond the picture.

Aurianna's Graduation Picture

It is so unfair that my own daughter graduates before I do! I will get over it though very quickly. We are so very proud of her in all of her accomplishments. We have been saving everything that she has done in her class and it is just a huge binder full of exciting achivements that Auri has done.

Aurianna's Pre-School Pictures

I just thought that these pictures were so adorable, and it would be a horrible sin to not share with everybody. So here are the pictures that Aurianna's pre-school did. Just to let you in, she is going through a program provided by the city of Henderson at the local rec center. It is really fantastic. Aniston starts this year in the same program while Aurianna moves on to Kindergarten.

it was only an accident!

while we were in St. George we stopped by the park close to the Temple it I was only swinging and then I suddenly noticed that I was lying face first on the ground and my right arm was numb. And the bench was just a joke...seriously it was.

Our Ancestors

Since we were out and about, I thought that we would stop by the cemetery in LaVerkin and also in Cedar City. We placed some very nice white flowers on Grandpa and Grandma Petty's grave stone. It was very nice to visit the site along with seeing familiar

Ammon's Teeth are coming

Ammon's teeth on the bottom front are coming in quickly. We always wondered why he such a moody boy. We love his smile and his personality so far. We are having some good moments with him and along with the girls.

Our Little Vacation

Since I was off from school last week, we thought that we needed to take a trip up to see the GREAT Grandparents and Aunt. We had a blast, Doug and Janet was there and along with Jennifer and her kids were there. We had a blast. It was such a big issue because they haven't seen Ammon...ever! So we thought about getting away and enjoying family.

Ammon at 6 months

They don't get any more handsome then this. We are lovin' it!!



Just to let you know that we have had a little issue with him. We found out that he has "RSV". Which in short is a respiratory problem. He is doing better from where we started with this problem in the beginning. He is breathing better, still sounding like a seal though but really much better than before. He still keeps us up at night. But I think it is from his first set of teeth coming in. They are the bottom front 2. Like I said before...they don't get any more handsome then this.
